Reshape a Feature

Use Reshape to fix the shape or position of a feature that's already on the map — move a road bend, redraw an area's edge, nudge a misplaced point — without deleting it and drawing it again. Its properties stay exactly as they were.

1. In the Admin Console, find the layer and open Alter → Reshape.
2. Click the feature you want to change.
3. Adjust it:
4. Drag a corner (vertex) to move it.
5. Drag the small handle halfway along an edge to add a new corner.
6. Right-click a corner to remove it.
7. Drag inside the feature (or drag a point) to move the whole thing.
8. Click Save to keep the new shape, or Cancel to discard it.

Some layers keep their areas a fixed shape — runbook regions, for example, stay square. On those, the shape is squared up again after you save.
