Clear a Layer

Dataset → Clear Layer removes every feature from a layer but keeps the layer itself — its styling, its place on the maps, its edit pages.

Use it to start a layer over — for example, clear it and then load features from a file to replace its contents.

To remove the layer completely, use Delete a Layer. If you clear a layer by mistake, the data can be recovered from the last published version — ask your atlas administrator or SCS.
