Printable Map Books
Atlases can produce print-ready PDF map books for vehicles, field kits and offline use. Look for them in the Downloads section of the console.
Runbook
The runbook has one page per named region of the atlas — a response zone, a preserve, a neighbourhood. Each page:
- prints on Letter, landscape, with the map beside a side panel
- shows the region exactly as it's drawn on the web map
- links to the same area on the live web map (see Preset Views)
You can download each region's page on its own, or the whole runbook as a single combined PDF.
Gazetteer
The gazetteer divides the whole atlas into a numbered grid, one page per cell at a consistent scale:
- Neighbour labels on each edge give the number of the next page, so you can follow a road across pages.
- A grid index page shows the whole area with every page number — a table of contents.
Printing tips
Print in colour, double-sided. Lines and labels are sized for paper, so roads and creeks stay readable whatever the page's scale.
Keeping them current
Map books show the data as it was when they were last built — they aren't updated automatically when the data changes. Atlas administrators rebuild them with Build (see Build an Output).
